Section 1. Scope of the Site
Rolodex Group (“Rolodex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Chicago-based advisory serving creatives, entrepreneurs, and innovative organizations. The Site provides information about Rolodex, publishes editorial and newsletter content, and offers ways to contact us.
The Site is for informational, editorial, and business development purposes. Any separate client or service relationship is governed by a written agreement signed by both parties.
Section 2. Informational Content
The Site contains general information, commentary, and educational material. You are responsible for evaluating whether any content on the Site fits your circumstances.
The Site does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, mental health, or other regulated professional advice. Site content does not substitute for advice from a qualified professional engaged for your specific matter.
Section 3. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Rolodex is not a law firm. Your use of the Site, your subscription to The Index, your submission of an inquiry, or your participation in an introductory call through the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship, fiduciary relationship, or formal advisory engagement.
Any paid advisory, project, consulting, or service engagement begins through a separate written agreement executed by all parties.
Section 4. Unsolicited Information
You may contact us through the Site or by email. Do not send confidential, proprietary, privileged, sensitive, or time-sensitive information unless we have expressly agreed in writing to receive it.
Rolodex handles communications with care. Unsolicited submissions through the Site or by email do not automatically create duties of confidentiality, privilege, or non-disclosure.
Section 5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Site.
Section 6. Intellectual Property
The Site and its contents, including text, design, branding, graphics, newsletters, compilations, and original editorial material, are owned by Rolodex Group or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use the Site for personal use and internal business reference. You may not, without prior written permission from Rolodex:
reproduce, republish, distribute, publicly display, sell, license, or exploit Site content;
modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from Site content;
use Rolodex’s name, marks, or branding in a way that implies endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship; or
remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
Section 7. Limited License
Subject to these Terms, Rolodex grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for lawful personal or internal business purposes. This license ends immediately if you violate these Terms.
Section 8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site lawfully and in a way that respects Rolodex, its content, and other users. You may not:
use the Site for fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, or harmful purposes;

use the Site in a way that could damage Rolodex, the Site, or others.
Section 9. Anti-Scraping; No Automated Harvesting
Except as expressly authorized by Rolodex in writing, you may not use any automated means to access, monitor, copy, scrape, crawl, harvest, mine, extract, or reuse any portion of the Site, its content, or its underlying data.
This restriction includes bots, spiders, browser automation tools, AI agents, model-training pipelines, data-mining tools, and similar technologies used for commercial, competitive, archival, training, or bulk-extraction purposes.
Rolodex may suspend access, block traffic, or pursue available legal remedies in response to violations.
Section 10. User Submissions and Feedback
If you send Rolodex ideas, suggestions, feedback, or other non-confidential submissions about the Site or our public-facing content, you grant Rolodex a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use and incorporate that feedback for business purposes without compensation.
This section does not give Rolodex ownership of materials you provide under a separate signed client agreement.
Section 11. Newsletter and Electronic Communications
If you subscribe to The Index or otherwise provide your contact information, Rolodex may send you newsletters, updates, responses to your inquiries, and other business-related communications.
